Visit us to learn all about the history of the town of Carleton Place and the Township of Beckwith!
We're located in a beautiful stone building constructed in 1872 as the town hall and "lock up". Converted into Victoria School in 1879, it saw hundreds of children pass through the doors until closing in 1969.
Our main floor exhibit gallery features permanent exhibits telling the story of the area and chronicling the town's history.
The Foss Room hosts temporary exhibits, workshops and events!
We're located at 267 Edmund Street in Carleton Place.
Parking is available to the rear of the building.
SUMMER HOURS:
Tuesday through Saturday 10 am - 4 pm.
Sunday 1 pm - 4 pm.
