The Carleton Place and Beckwith Historical Society serves those members of the community with an interest in local history and provides outreach programs to local schools and other organizations. The Society manages the repository for historically pertinent artifacts and documents that are available to the public. The membership fee is a small annual contribution that assists in covering costs for the Society and the Museum, and helps us preserve the history of Carleton Place and Beckwith Township for generations to come.
The Board of Directors of the Carleton Place and Beckwith Historical Society meets on the fourth Thursday of each month. Meetings are held at 7 pm at the Museum, 267 Edmund Street in Carleton Place. Interested in attending? Call 613-253-7013 to confirm the date and time of the next meeting.
